1. The philosophy of e-portfolio
E-portfolio contains information about our achievements,
knowledge and skills. E-portfolio is a set of papers and
published on the Internet. With him are documented our ideas,
achievements, progress and activities carried out. Using the
web service we can make e-portfolio, which enables us to
communicate with various audiences and at the same time we are
part of large social networks. We can use e-portfolio for
assessment and learning, for reflection and collaboration, for
developing attitudes, abilities, skills and habits. In the
process of making our e-portfolio we obtain a better insight
into our own achievements, which are collected in one place,
they can be improved and can be presented in a quality manner.
On the methodical way we create a base of electronic materials
in our e-portfolio. E-portfolio provides summative evaluation
and formative assessment. If we use e-portfolio for formative
assessment purposes it can be very powerful device for
learning and his primary purpose is promotion of learning.
To create an e-portfolio, there are different devices, some of
free of charge (open source).
Until now I have some material for teaching in paper form, but
much more in digital form. It would be good to all that enters
into my e-portfolio unite in one place. Prior to that, I have
to have everything in digital form. It would be good to have
all the materials in one place. To this purpose serves the e-
portfolio. It is desirable to put e-portfolio in curriculum
and teaching students to enable creative and constructive
learning. Except that we would be able to assess students in
their progress, to control them if they perform their
obligations, and we can refer them to the shortcomings in
order to improve (formative assessment). I can decide which
materials students will be able to access. E-Porfolio provides
that students can learn from each other, they can connect to
groups with the same or similar areas of interest. For this
purpose, use of a different e-learning (Web 2.0) tools is
available.
In my e-portfolio device I can do this primary actions:
create, edit, review. I can expose my curriculum vitae (CV)
abilities, achievements, experiences, meetings, activities,
thoughts, action plans, blogs, webfolio, and so on. On this
2. virtual place I can have many of diferrent files - pictures,
photos, scans, movies, sounds, transcripts, and so on.
E-portfolio is a private place and I can choose which part of
my e-asset will be shared or published. Some of these I can
export or print. For getting digital asset I can use even PDA
and mobile phone.
And in this course combination of LMS Moodle and e-jump 2.0
makes the e-portfolio. All published documents and
instructions in Moodle and all of our blogs (e-jump 2.0) with
links to documents and presentations (in other web 2.0 tools),
all posts, all communications, make the e-asset.
