1. This is the photo of my bachelor of Commerce
degree certificate which I got from University of
Southern Queensland in Australia. I have took 4
years to complete this accounting major program
and finished 24 courses totally. As English is not
my native language, it is hard for me to adapt the
new study life when I just arrived in Australia.
Finally, I overcome the different academic
problems and got this degree successfully. Now, I
am in the membership of CPA Australia
association since I got this degree. I have learned
many different accounting related courses such
as financial accounting, management
accounting, accounting information system which
provides me the basic accounting knowledge and
practice skills. This certificate is the highest level
degree that I have completed until now.
2. This is the graduation ceremony photo of Faculty of Business of University of Southern Queensland for
Chinese students. It was took in China in September 2011. As I came back to China immediately when I
graduated from University, I need to attend the graduation ceremony in China. It was so excited at that
moment because graduated from university means the end of school life and the begin of my society
life. I am very proud that I am one of the graduate in this ceremony. As a student, the primary goal for
us is complete the program and graduate successfully. During the ceremony, the Dean of Faculty of
Business gave a speech and wish the best for us. This photo is the signal of my new life.
3. Football is one of my favorite sport. This is the photo of my football team which won the champion in
high school matches in local area. We beat six different teams from other schools and got the
champion finally. Before the game start, we need to train everyday and practice so hard. As a major
member is our team, I am the striker in our team. I have 6 goals during these six matches and made a
great contribution to the team to won the champion. It greatly improve our team cooperation through
this wonderful game. As a consequence, we got $500 prize as we are the champion. Personal interests
are very important for us. We should not only achieve well in academic area but also in other aspects.
4. I am very interest in participate in
different kinds of competition. During my
study period in China in 2010, I have
participated in the CPA Case Competition
which was held by CPA Australia
Guangzhou Branch. This photo is the
certificate that our team won the second
highest scores in this competition. I have
analyzed the case and gave some
suggestions for how to operate more
effective and then show it to the CPA
officer. In this competition, I have
recognized that there are many different
situations or different tasks that we need
to analyze in accounting field. I am very
appreciate that I have this opportunity to
attend the competition.
5. This is the photo that I was discussing with my teammate for the personal video brand project
assignment. In the career exploration course, we are required to complete a personal brand video to
building our personal brand. I was discussing with my teammate on how to record the high quality
video and what should and should not do when recording the video. I have recognized that personal
brand is very important for us in our career life. For example, we can “sell” our skills to the employer
through the video when we apply the job.
