What is NLP?
Neuro-linguistic programming or NLP is a powerful learning method that allows people to:
1. Create permanent, positive changes in a person’s life.
2. Understand how to ethically influence and persuade others.
3. Effectively achieve long term and short term goals.
4. Overcome negative experiences and memories to move forward in life.
5. Understand how human communication really works.
Where did NLP come from?
NLP draws heavily from several other disciplines, including linguistics, learning theory, psychology and even psychotherapy. It is a multispectral discipline that welcomes complementary theories whenever it needs to.
Milton Erickson, who is considered the father of modern hypnotherapy, applied many theories that harmonized with the basic principles of NLP, including accessing the subconscious mind and distinguishing between essential identity and personal behaviors.
Who uses NLP?
Neuro-linguistic programming is considered a wonderful, nurturing discipline for individuals who wish to combine different theories and methods to create target outcomes or goals. NLP is currently being used by a wide variety of basic and master practitioners throughout the world.
In the United States, NLP is often used by life coaches to model personal excellence so that their clients can find sustainable solutions to problems they encounter in different areas of their lives. There is actually no known limit as to what you can achieve with NLP techniques. You are limited only by your drive and creativity!
Is NLP an art or science?
The foundational principles of NLP are based on science but it is also considered a form of art because of its performance component (mainly, communicating with others and performing affirmative, positive actions).
The essential principles of this discipline are based on scientific assumptions about our neurological system (how we receive inputs from our external environment) and the various mental processes involved in processing information, making decisions and how we take action in different situations.
How is feedback used in NLP?
Of particular interest in NLP is how people communicate and behave depending on the feedback that they get from social interactions. Feedback is a central concept in NLP. One of the core assumptions of NLP is that without feedback, it will not be possible to plan and achieve goals or even communicate meaningfully with others.
Concepts like success and failure are also challenged by NLP as it encourages an objective, outcome-centered thinking especially if you are trying to achieve something for yourself.
In NLP, you don’t fail at something; you simply receive feedback. If something didn’t work according to plan, you can use the feedback from the experience to change the outcome in your next attempt. Mistakes and miscalculations that commonly delay success are “feedback generators” that actually guide people to their target outcomes.

Dear Sir,
Greetings…………..
I am very happy to share that I have cleared the Exam 5 in the very first attempt. I just can't express my happiness in words.
Sir, before contacting you, it had been a year since I was preparing for CFP certification and was unsure, if I could attempt and clear the exam. Despite, joining classes with a reputed education provider, I was not happy with the mode of teaching as they follow a set pattern that might not be the right approach. At times during myself preparation before contacting you, I got disillusioned few times as the certification is not an easy one considering the complex nature of the calculations.
I remember the day I contacted you from Delhi and spoke with you over the phone for over an hour. I felt assured that I had approached the right coach post the long discussion with you. I took the decision to travel to Mumbai and attended the classroom coaching. This proved to be the right decision as it made the course content look simple with the process laid down by you to solve the questions/exam/s. Squeezing the entire course content within 45 days in such a way that does not look too heavy for a participant is absolutely amazing, considering the exhaustive course content.
You have designed a course that is bound to create success stories. Within my batch those who followed the process as laid down by you, have cleared the paper in first attempt. Although, I was skeptical of the video learning kit initially, since I had taken the classroom coaching and did not think whether video learning would really be of any value. However, this video learning kit proved to be a blessing in disguise, as I always felt I was constantly in the class when studying by the Video Learning Kit. The way you have designed both the modules cleared my selfdoubt of clearing the certification.
Moreover, the amazing 5 STEP PROCESS and exhaustive question bank along with your constant support and continued guidance over phone calls to clear doubts made this journey look very easy and enjoyable. Moreover, when you offered me to attend the coaching again, that you were doing for the senior professionals in Delhi, so as to refresh my learning, I was humbled and really feel indebted by your selfless attitude. Not only this, your continued support post clearing the certification for setting up my own consultancy / practice, mak

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

Becoming CFPCM is one of the very essential Life Goal for me…
However to realize this goal has passed may hurdles as usual our
day to day life.
But materialization CFPCM for me in First attempt and boosting self confidence… its credit
goes one and only one to you, Mr. Keyur Shah. I am very very thankful and feel blessed
for having a Mentor / Guide / Couch / Guru like you during my CFP journey.
As I shared with you, I have started CFP journey in year Sept. 2010, however I
was able to crack only one module exam. And unable to crack second module
in two attempt, so at that movement I have almost given up of becoming CFP.
As being Engineering background my belief is becoming like CFP is not my
cup of tea. But I am unable to digest my give up, as CFP is one of my life’s
most important and most required Professional Goal. As in year 2009 I have
decided to make carrier in my most loved field Personal Financial Management
and CFP in one of milestone in that.
Before give up CFP, I decided to at least do / attempt in different way. It was
may be my luck that since from long back I am receiving emails from you, and
I was always ignoring these mail like as other promotion mail. One day I
decided to go though your email and many of success stories from
youtube.com of your channel and here is real turn happen.
When in the month of August 2015 I approached to you and discussed about my CFP
goal and its journey till the time. Then you have advised me to go though video learning.
Though my earlier belief was that online couching and post couching support is only
part of promotion speech. But I kept blind faith on you as after speaking with
you, my self belief was like that you are right guy, will never misguide.
2. And I am very thankful for your time to time most valuable guidance apart from
course material during last 10/11 months.
Going though video learning is as good as or in fact it’s more profound way
for me than attending classroom training. As I have control key to pause /
rewind the lecture till my concept will be clear. In these eight days video
learning I have experienced you have covered all probable types of question
from exam point of view and most importantly from view of making practice as
CFP.
Your’s provided reference material and important notes played key role in my
CFP journey. To pass CFP final exam in first attempt.
Here I am willing to express my gratitude towards you (Mr. Keyur Shah)
for becoming my mentor in one of the most important life goal. You’re the
true planner with you I assured my important professional goal.
Thanking you…….
