Purpose of a research
 To investigate the factors that affect employee motivation
in J.
 To determine the extent to which these factors influence
motivation levels.
 The study aims to explore the impact of age, gender,
rank or position within the organization, and educational
level on employee motivation.
Problem Statement
 The employee's productivity can be increased by
Increasing Employees Motivation.
 Employees Motivation depends upon following
factors:
Age
Gender
Rank or Position
Education Level
Previous Study
• The study was conducted in Indonesia. The study aimed to find differences of teachers’
work motivation.
• Is take Sample of
 88 Teachers
 Random Sampling
• The data was collected by Questionaires Containing
 17 Structured items
 Measured on 5 point scale
• The Data was analyzed by using:
 Descriptive Statistics
 T-test
 Analysis of variance
Gap in Study
 Limited context: The study was conducted, specifically in
Indonesia. The study should only focus on the motivation
of teachers and specially conducted in education sector,
so this study only related to teachers' motivation, not the
motivation of the employees in the industrial sector.
Research Objective
 Are there differences in motivation levels among different age
groups in J.?
 Are there variations in motivation levels between male and female
employees?
 Are higher-ranked employees more motivated compared to lower-
ranked ones?
 Are employees with higher educational qualifications more
motivated?
Variables in the study:
Theories about variable:
 Herzberg's Two-Factor
Theory proposes that
motivation is influenced by two
factors: hygiene factors
(related to the work
environment and job context)
and motivators (related to the
nature of the work itself,
achievement, recognition,
responsibility, and growth),
 Maslow's Hierarchy of
Needs Theory suggests that
motivation is driven by a
hierarchy of needs, including
physiological, safety, social,
esteem, and self-actualization
needs.
Hypothesis:
 H1: Younger employees exhibit higher motivation levels
compared to older employees.
 H2: Female employees exhibit higher motivation levels compared
to male employees.
 H3: There is a positive relationship between rank and position
within the organization and employee motivation.
 H4: There is a positive relationship between educational level and
employee motivation.
Mythology
 Research method: The research method that we have used to
collect data is through electronic questionnaires.
 Close-ended questions: We used multiple choice questions for
conducting our research.
 . Population: We choose all the employees of J. in Lahore as a
population of our research.
Mythology
 Probability sampling: We choose randomly two branches of J.
from the whole Pakistan.
1. J. MM Alam Branch
2. J. Emporium Branch
 Sample Size: 50 Employees
