2. Inception starts off by showing the company who produced
them, the writer of the film and the directors name. They do
not name the director but tell the audience that it is the
same one as The Dark Knight. That means the people who
watched The Dark Knight and liked the way the film was
directed or just like the movie are more likely to watch this
film as they have the same director.
3. There is a spinning top which is shown and this is the key
image to the film as it makes the audience want to know
what this film is about as it shows so little. They also how
an image of Leonardo Dicaprio who is an extremely famous
actor and this would encourage people to see him if they
are his fans, this is then followed by his name appearing on
the screen. There are also writing for the audience to read
to get more involved in the film.
4. The soundtrack to this film is very dramatic, with trumpets
being blown and violins. It builds up suspense as the trailer
goes on, the violins getting higher as you watch. The
trumpets are slow and deep, repeating itself causing an
eerie atmosphere. The soundtrack dies out in the end to
only hear the sound of the trumpets and the name of the
film.
5. The teaser trailer is only one minute long
and the shot zooms out from an image of
buildings and skyscrapers to the name of
the film. They also show other information
about the film such as the
producers, actors, other company's that
combines with the producers, the music
and when the film comes out.
