Engineering. Whatever be the branch, one can

Student should have scored at least 70%
through out the academic career.
• Students who attended Infosys Recruitment
in the Past 9 Months are not eligible.

CAMPUS RECRUITMENT:
It has various programs like campus connect and instep and
other campus hiring programs. Infosys recruits fresher's from
engineering colleges between may to September and in
management colleges it is between December to March.

program. Online Form for Career Plus Here Eligibility
(Fresher's): Eligibility depends upon nature of Jobs.
1 . For BPO Jobs : Minimum qualification required is
Graduation/Diploma and should have good
communication skills & willing to work in shifts.
2. For IT/ Consulting Jobs : Infosys recruits fresh
Engineering Graduates like BE, B.Tech and Post
Graduates like M.Sc, MCA Also good academic record
and minimum of 60% in 10th, 10+2, Graduation, Post
Graduation.
Third Party Mode Examples
SELECTION PROCESS
WRITTEN TEST:
Generally the written test includes two major sections -
1) Logical reasoning
2) Verbal ability
1) Logical reasoning : This section generally contains 10
questions and the duration is 60 minutes. Difficulty
level and distribution of marks is not constant across
questions. Few questions would be very difficult, few
would be moderately difficult and others would be
relatively easier than the rest. Marks distribution
would vary accordingly
• Verbal ability: This section would carry about 45
questions and the duration would be 30 minutes.
• English section is on the easier side when
compared to the puzzles section.
• Some common sections would include –
sentence formations,
filling the blanks right words,
 rearranging jumbled sentences etc.
PERSONAL INTERVIEW
• Generally Infosys conducts tech and HR
interviews combined and by the same panel
for both.
• One could be asked to solve a few puzzles in
real time during the interview. Other than this
one could be grilled on technical questions
depending on his/her stream of study.

• What are your Strengths and Weakness.
• Explain contribution in your project?
• Why do you want to join Infosys? What do you
know about us?
• Why should we hire you? What can you do for us
if you are Selected?
• What's the time you faced a lot of trouble in your
life and how you solved it?
REASONS FOR REJECTION IN THE
INTERVIEW (INFOSYS)
1. Poor attitude.
2. Appearance.
3. Lack of research
4. Not having questions to ask. Asking questions shows your
interest in the company and the position.
5. Not readily knowing the answers to interviewers' questions.
6. Relying too much on resumes.
7. Too much humility
8. Not relating skills to employers' needs
9. Handling salary issues ineptly.
10. Lack of career direction.

9 months are not eligible.
• Since, it has a huge number of applicants, the process
becomes time consuming .

 Time consuming.
Indirect Mode:
 Costly
 One should be updated with all the magazines and
newspaper.

 It may not accessible to all the applicants.

Whatever be the branch, one can sit up for the selection process; if one qualifies their eligibility criteria.

For BPO Jobs : Minimum qualification required is Graduation/Diploma and should have good communication skills & willing to work in shifts. 2. For IT/ Consulting Jobs : Infosys recruits fresh Engineering Graduates like BE, B.Tech and Post Graduates like M.Sc, MCA Also good academic record and minimum of 60% in 10th, 10+2, Graduation, Post Graduation.

SELECTION PROCESS WRITTEN TEST: Generally the written test includes two major sections - 1) Logical reasoning 2) Verbal ability 1) Logical reasoning : This section generally contains 10 questions and the duration is 60 minutes. Difficulty level and distribution of marks is not constant across questions. Few questions would be very difficult, few would be moderately difficult and others would be relatively easier than the rest. Marks distribution would vary accordingly
  • 16. • Verbal ability: This section would carry about 45 questions and the duration would be 30 minutes. • English section is on the easier side when compared to the puzzles section. • Some common sections would include – sentence formations, filling the blanks right words,  rearranging jumbled sentences etc.
  • 17. PERSONAL INTERVIEW • Generally Infosys conducts tech and HR interviews combined and by the same panel for both. • One could be asked to solve a few puzzles in real time during the interview. Other than this one could be grilled on technical questions depending on his/her stream of study.

Asking questions shows your interest in the company and the position. 5. Not readily knowing the answers to interviewers' questions. 6. Relying too much on resumes. 7. Too much humility 8. Not relating skills to employers' needs 9. Handling salary issues ineptly. 10. Lack of career direction.

Direct Mode:  Cost to hire is high.  Time consuming. Indirect Mode:  Costly  One should be updated with all the magazines and newspaper. Third Party:  It may not accessible to all the applicants.
