1. Self Audit
I have done various different exercises to assess the skills I have. I have found that I have numerous different strengths and weaknesses. I have put them into a table so it is easy to read what they are and where the evidence is that I got them from.
Strengths Evidence Weaknesses Evidence Entrepreneurial Enterprise & other questionnaire I did Don’t relate theory to practiceAssessment feedbackKinaesthetic learning VARK Questionnaire creativeEnterpriseFlexibility BBC Reading and writingVARK Questionnaireloyal Personality graduate skills Knowledge about learning skillsHoney & Mumford Aural learning VARK Questionnaire activist Lashley Perseverance Enterprise Working situation Honey & Mumford reflector Lashley
One of the first questionnaires I filled in was the VARK questionnaire which I filled out for my last assessment. From filling this questionnaire I found out that my strengths are that I am I mainly a kinaesthetic and an aural learner. I also found that I scored a lot lower in the reading and writing section making this a weakness. I have made improvements on that since the VARK test because I feel that is a skill needed for employment. I have improved the reading and writing but finding different models and theories to help me improve.
I filled in an enterprise questionnaire which said overall I have which I got a score of 67 this meant that I was in the enterprising bracket. This suggests that I am well on my way to becoming an entrepreneur. I filled in another enterprise questionnaire and although I didn’t score as high it said that I have a good foundation for entrepreneurial skills. The entrepreneur questionnaire split the skill separately to show individual scores and I scored highly in perseverance. I feel this is a very important skill to have for university and for getting employment after as well. In the enterprise questionnaire I didn’t score as high in creativity so this is an area that I need to improve on because this could be a very important skill for university and getting employment.
There are a few other ways of how I found the skills I have got. To help me know what skills I need to improve for a career I have decided to put all my skill into either a strength or weakness box. The strengths box is what I feel confident in and who that will help me in different areas. The most important strength I feel I have is being flexible so I am able to adapt to different situations and different people. I feel the weaknesses box is the most important at this point in time because I need to improve them for university and employment. The activist skills for employment are what I will improve by trying new ideas and taking more risks to help me become more employable.

I have various different strengths and weaknesses in different areas but I feel that I should the table about where the strengths and weaknesses fit in are very important because this shows why I need to improve the skills.
