  • This test pretty much proves why slide design should not be like billboards. Each one says a different thing without any interlinking story. After going through so many slides, most people may remember only 1 or 2 brands. Again as a presenter you dont want your audience to forget what was said.     • Imagine you are drivingand you reach a traffic signal.

    • When the light turns green you start moving(by clicking your mouse).
    • On every slide, count upto 4 and then change the slide.Spend only 4 seconds per slide. That’s the time you get to see a Billboard (Hoarding)
    • Start!

    • Take a break for 15 seconds
    • Write down the brand names of all the billboards you remember.
    • Go to the billboard which you remembered. Try to analyse what made you remember it in just 4 seconds. That too in this clutter.
    • Discuss your doubts/findings on the blog. Leave a comment and tell me which billboards you remembered.
    • The next time you are driving watch out for the Billboards. Remember, PPT slides are like Billboards.
