This document discusses the future of e-governance with cloud computing. Cloud computing provides a viable platform to host e-governance applications and provides service-oriented access without compromising security. Some benefits of using cloud computing for e-government include rapid elasticity, reduced costs and increased efficiency, improved auditing and logging, enhanced disaster recovery, and improved reporting. However, there are also challenges such as meeting security requirements, obtaining guidance, ensuring data portability and interoperability, and overcoming cultural barriers to implementation. The conclusion is that cloud computing provides flexibility, cost effectiveness, integration and security benefits that make it a suitable option for e-government systems to reduce costs and facilitate sustainable development.
