This document provides instructions for students to create a virtual art exhibition by selecting paintings from 10 artists - Frederick Remington, John William Waterhouse, John Constable, Thomas Gainsborough, Walter Crane, Edward Hopper, Thomas Hart Benton, John Steuart Curry, Jack Vettriano, and John George Brown - and writing descriptions for each painting following the outlined steps: title, origin and subject of the painting, a description and analysis of striking elements, the artist's intention, and explaining why each painting deserves a place in the exhibition. Links to the works of these 10 painters are also provided.
