The teacher used a smart board and PowerPoint to model removing clutter from writing for students. She first modeled the process alone, then worked through an example with student input on the board. Finally, students independently edited their own writing with peer feedback. The technology allowed for whole-class visualization and interaction during modeling of the editing concept.
