Our Curriculum Design for EPB   Learning of a Foreign Language  Vygotsky and Bruner
Vygotsky   = Piaget   = Behaviorism   children  are born into a  social world  and, because of that,  learning   occurs through  interaction   with other people : we make our own sense of  the world   from the time of their birth, children learn  independently  by exploring their environment   adults are responsible for shaping children’s  learning by the  judicious use of rewards or   comments , as well as  routines
Interaction   with other people   Language   culture is transmitted  thinking develops  learning occurs   interaction = between  people with  different levels  of, in our   case,  communicative competence   to advance in our  ZPD
Bruner   LAD  to acquire culture through language   Through good-directed activities Adult is a model and a partner,  fine-tuning language   LASS  (it contains the LAD) +  scaffolding
