National Breast Cancer Foundation Lauren Boutros Help for Today… Hope For Tomorrow
The National Breast Cancer Foundation's mission is to save lives through early detection and to provide mammograms for those in need. Our mission includes increasing awareness through education, providing diagnostic breast care services for those in need, and providing nurturing support services.
Our Goal at the National Breast Cancer Foundation is to spread knowledge around the world about the how serious of an issue breast cancer is. We want to save lives and help the weak become strong. We want to help them fight through their cancer with their heads held high and with no doubt in their minds. It is imperative that they know if they are at anytime feeling low that they can come to us for any questions and get involved in our support groups.
We use celebrity support to help raise the money for free mammograms. They help by autographing memorabilia, recording public service announcements, and also helping promote events.
We use organizations such as,
Casual Up to help donate
We focus on reaching out to anyone who has breast cancer or anyone who knows someone with breast cancer.
We help anyone at any age, even men who are also prone to breast cancer.
We also help individuals keep their head up and fight through the cancer.
We provide free mammograms for anyone who is in need.
We want to explicate knowledge by having excellent resources.
We also have many different types of support groups that help cancer patients know that they are not alone.
We give the support and confidence they need to fight the cancer.
We give great information about the programs and support groups so people are more informed about breast cancer.
We have saved many lives by finding the cancer early with mammograms and preventing the cancer before it became a serious issue.
Breast Cancer is the most common type of cancer among women in the United States today.
There are approximately 2,000,000 women who have breast cancer today.
About 200,000 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed in women every year.
About 40,000 women will die from it. This is why we have this program to help prevent these women who have breast cancer to survive it and
curtail upcoming breast cancer
diagnoses before it is to late.
On the bright side there are

The mission of the non-profit Thinking Foundation is to support high quality research on cognitive skills development, creativity, and critical reflection—at pre-school, K-12 and college levels in order to transform learning, literacy, teaching and leadership around the world for those with the greatest need.
How would the National Breast Cancer Foundation appeal to the Thinking Foundation?
The Thinking Foundation can provide information about breast cancer for two weeks in October for the Breast Cancer Awareness Month it would help all the students and the teachers be aware of how serious this issue is.
The Thinking Foundation gives teachers the information to help teach their students how to use critical reflection and development on cognitive skills. If they incorporated the information that the National Breast Cancer Foundation provides it might help the children be aware of breast cancer at an earlier age and help prevent it sooner when they are old enough to have it.
How would the National Breast Cancer Foundation appeal to the Thinking Foundation? Cont.
The Thinking Foundation also works with schools in the less fortunate countries. If they incorporated the information that the National Breast Cancer Foundation provides than breast cancer can become known worldwide.
We gather relevant data to help us figure out what is needed for this organization, for example we use the support groups and find main issues that people are discussing and use that information to help promote the breast cancer foundation.
We combine our skills to aggrandize the Nation’s views on breast cancer. We have so many different ways that people can get involved. It can from spending a couple of dollars on a bracelet to donating thousands of dollars to our organization.
Critical Thinking cont.
We have to think creatively when it comes to choosing how to promote the National Breast Cancer Foundation. We have to predetermine if the ideas that we are putting forth are actually going to make an impact on the individuals that really do need help.
Our forums and different facts will help the community members determine the key ideas of what they are facing with a breast cancer diagnoses. For example, on our website nationalbreastcancer.org it has an About Breast Cancer page and it provides all of the information to give people in the community a chance to connect to their life situations, and engage in the texts they read in the website .
We develop different methods to keep women aware of the risks they can have. Such as the Further Knowledge section on the National Breast Cancer Foundation Page. Also there is an interactive rich media 3D presentation called Beyond The Shock. It was created
by physicians to help clarify
meaning to patients, families or
anyone who is interested in breast
Critical Action Cont.
We make progress by having women and men join the breast cancer community. These support groups are open for anyone who is in the same predicament as themselves. It is there to help them know that they are no alone with this scary heartbreaking disease.
We have to be mentally skilled when coming up with different ways to help raise money for free mammograms.

I am really passionate about this program even though I do not know anyone with breast cancer.
I believe that this program makes an impact on everyone. It shows that this country can come together and prove that we all really do care about others who live around us. No hatred; just love and support for those who are sick and in need of help and guidance.
