The photo’s will be
taken in front of a
plain white
background as I
want to remove the
background on
photoshop leaving
only the model. To
do this quickly it will
be much easier to
have a plain
background so I can
use the quick select
tool on photoshop
to remove the
background
effortlessly.

any contrast in the

6. Double Page Spread
• 2 different landscape
photos taken from
different angles.
• Article with split into
two sections down the
page, not one large
essay. Makes it more
aesthetically pleasing.
• Same font as front cover
main story, as its same

Yet again a white
background as I
want the focus to be
on the “band” as
oppose to the
background. It
shows them as
important as the
only thing that
matters which suits
their style.
8. Costumes
• All models will wear “mod” style clothing to help attract an extra
audience to my magazine to boost sales.
• The costumes will include ALL wearing ‘Fred Perry.’ This is the most
common mod brand.
• My long shot will show Fred Perry but also Adidas Original trainers,
favourable during the 1980 football hooligan scene which was parallel
to mod culture.
• These are suitable as it fits my main story of a band joining the
underground rock genre and this is common clothing for that area. It
also additionally attracts a new market.
