Simple Past tense
   What happened?
SIMPLE PAST TENSE
• We use this tense to talk about events that
  happened in a specific time in the past, and
  were finished in the past; they do not
  continue now.

• We can create affirmative, negative and
  interrogative sentences, following specific
  structures for each one.

• Now we are goint to see that structure…
Simple past

In affirmative sentences we use…
  • 2 types of verbs

  • REGULAR                   IRREGULAR
   Do not change their root   change their root.
   ED is added at the end          do not follow
  patterns.
