• IFEHE was started by a group of IITians with a desire to
contribute to the field of Higher Education by introducing a
new culture of constant learning.
• Our Board of advisors has Professors from IITs and IIMs, who
play a pivotal role in our quality assurance.
• Our offering stems out from the detailed research which we
do on the ground level.
• We have catered to more than 350 Engineering Colleges and
B-School through our in house and open house programs.
3. National Creativity
Aptitude Test
• NCAT is a Pan India creativity aptitude test.
• NCAT has been designed by some of the best brains from IITs
& IIMs.
• The aims is to make students aware of the importance of
creative thinking and to encourage them to use the same for
various problem-solving exercises.
• The NCAT will assess the creativity quotient of a student and
his/her level of achievement motivation.
4. Who Can Participate
• Based on course and year of study, students will be divided
into following six categories:
1. 1st Yr. B.Tech/B.Engg./B.Sc./BCA/B.Com.
2. 2nd Yr. B.Tech/B.Engg./B.Sc./BCA/B.Com.
3. 3rd Yr. B.Tech/B.Engg./B.Sc./BCA/B.Com.
4. 4th Yr. B.Tech/B.Engg
5. 1st Yr. MBA/M.Sc./MCA/M.Tech.
6. 2nd Yr. MBA/M.Sc./MCA/M.Tech.
5. Structure of NCAT
• The test will be conducted in two phases.
• Round 1 will be conducted at the college end and two top
performing students of each category from each college from
round 1 will qualify for the next round of Test.
• Round 2 will be conducted at Delhi (IIT Delhi).
6. Question Paper
Round 1
• ROUND 1: The participants have to answer 100 multiple
choice questions in 120 minutes.
• The question paper will have three sections:

• One mark will be allotted for each right answer and 0.25
marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
7. Question Paper
Round 2
• ROUND 2: The participants have to answer 60 multiple choice
questions with subjective questions testing creativity followed
by an activity on achievement motivation.

8. Important Dates
• Last Date of Registration: 15 Dec, 2012
• Date of Round 1 exam (at the College/Institute): 9 Feb, 2013
• Result of Round 1 Exam: 2 Apr, 2013
• Date of Round 2 exam (at IIT Delhi) : 15 Jun, 2013
• Declaration of Winners: 20 Jun, 2013
9. Awards & Accolades
• For each category winners will be declared and they will
receive cash prize as mentioned below:
– 1st Prize: Rs. 25,000
– 2nd Prize: Rs. 15,000
– 3rd Prize: Rs. 10,000
• Top 10 Students from each category will be given a
Residential IIT Certificate Course of one week at IIT Delhi on
Creativity and Innovation.
• All students securing more than 75 percentile in the round 1
test will get “Certificate of Excellence”. All others will get a
“Certificate of Participation”.
10. Participation Fee
• Students can enroll for NCAT by paying Rs. 250/-.
• Fee should be submit with Faculty Coordinators or Dean of
Students Welfare or Training & Placement Officer.
• Students need to fill a student information form. Form is also
available on www.ncat.co.in
• One Student can also become Student Coordinator and
She/he should make other students aware about the test and
assist faculties in collecting fee.

NCAT has been a wonderful and memorable experience for us, and the kind of exposure
that we got in those 5 days, was very educating for us. The lectures were very
motivating and cosmopolitan nature of class helped us to interact with people from
various places, and forge very good bonds.
I would like to thank IFEHE, NCAT, and IIT Delhi, for giving the students this opportunity,
for us those who failed to qualify for the IIT 3 years ago, staying at IIT was a dream come
