I have read the book and loved every page of it! Mind blowing!
I recommend everyone who has an email address to read it!
Yes, I mean it... and btw, Jeff didnt pay me to say it!

There was a time my email address went into thin air when xoom.com went down. There went my life for a sec, and if I saved all of my works and thoughts on Google Docs, Bookmark, etc. then something happened on the way to heaven... shall I just weep, go nuts or... ? I don’t trust Google to take care of my life.

Sorry Jeff, if everyone behaves like Google, it will be the end of our civilized world. It’ll be the Leviathan world.

    * Google used to copy small companies business and use its media power to push them out of market.
    * Google used to create products that compete with people who like them.
    * Google used put its own products and services at the top of the search results.
    * Google is greedy, and is going after everyone business, creating panic and fear.
    * Google makes humans feel small compared to their technology. Google guys do think people are dumb, and their technology is better than their small brain

My doubt is about 'talent - this is the creation generation' - this is highly questionable, as it makes things appear as if previously people were not creative. This certainly isn’t true. I don’t know, of course, how Jeff has put it in the book, but on the ppt it just doesn’t make sense for creative types, like myself LOL. It’d be better to say that this generation is much more openly and collaboratively creative, which in its turn very much changes the perception of copyright (which is akin to privacy, i.e. being a sole private owner of your concept or storyline).

Thanks for posting this. Obviously the book itself is the handout, but do you have any presentations that go a little deeper than the bullets, to help visually illustrate how your (and Google’s) principles are being applied?
