3. Double Exposure
In photography, a multiple or double exposure is the layering of two or more photographs to create a single
image.
To create the double exposure effects two photographs are needed to be taken and then layered together
either manually or using an editing programme such as Photoshop.
This image has been created using two photographs, one of which is the side
of a woman's face and the other is of a blossom tree, the woman has had her
face replaced by the other image using Photoshop, we can still clearly see that
it is an image of a woman because of the features that are still visible such as
her nose and lips.
This effect can be created using two of my own photographs and layering
them on top of one another.
This image is a little bit different to the first one because they have
included a lot of the detail from the first photograph and the
second photograph of the flowers has faded more than the image
of the two women, on this photograph we can more clearly see the
features of the models.
To create this effect I can use two of my own photographs and
again layer them on top of one another in Photoshop but make the
photograph of the flowers more faded.

5. Light trail
This image shows a sphere of light next to a skate ramp, this image stands out
because the light is bright and has been drawn on a darker background, many
photographers use this kind of photography when taking photographs of cars
passing, having the camera on a slow shutter speed allows the light to be
exposed to the camera causing the result to show the movement of the light.
To create this effect I can use a light source and a slow shutter speed to
capture the movement of the light, the best results are achieved when it is
done in a dark room.
This image is a little bit different to the first one, this one is more
experimental because they have not drawn a shape or a word with
the light, they have simple thrown the light around in any direction to
create an abstract effect.
To create this effect I can do the same as the first image and use a
light source to draw the shape and a slow shutter speed to capture
the movement, although to create this image they have not drawn a
shape.
