Editor's Notes Picture of my hands playing the piano. Introduce myself. Start with a personal fact to gain a personal emotional connection with the audience. Shortly after entering middle school, Garrett found his voice in an electric guitar. Eager to expand his vocabulary, Garrett learned saxophone and piano. In High School, the budding composer scored his first short films joined the electro-rock-pop band Shotty as a Keyboard/Sax player. The band practiced every day for hours on end. Thus, Garrett’s chops were honed as a musician, songwriter, and arranger. Three years and one degree in Digital Audio Technology later He has an advanced understanding of music software and hardwaredevices Garrett left the band and focused his energy towards composing for motion picture. In 2012, while pursuing his B.S. in Music Production, Garrett founded Spark Music Solutions Utilizing an engineer’s brain and a bad case of synesthesia Garrett has composed music for many video productions including spots for major corporations such as Microsoft and Bluetooth A problem solver, Garrett is always looking forways to improve processes.
