2. MY MUSIC VIDEO
There are many aspects of my music video that imitates real music videos. I know this
as we have studied real life music videos intently to gain knowledge on motifs and
themes commonly used. Some of these used in my video are fragmentation of the
body, shots of sun and impossible sequences. We used fragmentation of Mitchells
body to show his emotions and how he is feeling broken up, while this is similar to
some music video it is important to also note that often music videos use this
technique to objectify women’s body parts.
