4. 1. Introduction. About the project.
Students spend daily 5-7 hours in the school. Besides
that, the homework takes from 3 to 5 hours. Many
students claim that they are too busy. It's very hard to
manage everything, especially if you have extracurricular
activities.
The aim of our project was to shorten the time spent in
school, by shortening the breaks.

8. We have provided a research among students of our
lyceum, especially between 4th, 7th , 9th, 10th ,11th, 12th
classes.
The results were the ones that we expected. The big
majority answered that they have extracurricular
activities, some of them cross with the school schedule.

12. 4. Similar projects in other schools and their
implementation
Another lyceum from Moldova, Ungheni tried to apply
a similar project. They had the same problem: lack of
time for extracurricular activities and personal
development, because of a too busy schedule. The
solution we propose is to start earlier (at 8.00 a.m.
instead of 8.30 a.m.) and shorten the breaks. Their
solution was to reduce the number of compulsory
subjects.
13. 5. Conclusion
Even if we couldn’t implement our project, we enjoyed
the work on it. We have appreciated the importance of
an effective time-management, despite the fact that we
are just students.
