Why English for Engineering Students? <ul><li>The main objective of the Advanced English Course for students of engineering is to develop the skills and strategies necessary to independently cope with authentic academic texts in English , both as students at Ruppin College and as future professionals. </li></ul>

Texts and Activities </li></ul><ul><ul><li>All articles and activities will be downloaded from the course site on Moodle. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Keep your materials in a notebook and bring it to class. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Some activities will be done on Moodle. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>2. Dictionaries : </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Any dictionary, including electronic dictionaries. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Bring your dictionary to every class. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>3. Notebook, Pens, Pencils and Highlighters </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Bring to every class. </li></ul></ul>

If you miss 20% or more of the lessons you will be dropped from the course. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>You are expected to come to class on time . </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>There is no make-up work. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>If you do not do a homework assignment (or do not submit it on time), in-class assignment, or quiz, you will receive a &quot; zero &quot; ( 0 ) grade for that task. </li></ul></ul>
