David Phipps obtained a PhD in immunology studying antibacterial proteins in insects. He then did postdoctoral research on HIV and the immune system. This led him to focus his career on knowledge mobilization and transferring research into benefits for communities. He is now the Executive Director of Research & Innovations Services, helping researchers engage stakeholders and increase impact.
