Trial Users Guests Guests: • Invitation only from a subscriber or Trial user • Basically a reader • Restricted ability to initiate collaboration • Limited to 25MB storage Trial Users: • 30 - day trial • All services • Up to 100 people in your company Paid Subscribers Become Invite Subscriptions: • Named users • Monthly or Yearly LotusLive: User Types

  • 3. More About Guests
    • -Give access to valuable collaborators who can join for specific task/projects and only need a minimum set of services.
    • -A subscriber can:
      • - Invite a casual collaboration partner to work inside LotusLive
      • - Invite an unlimited number of guests
      • - See who they've invited as guests in a special view in Contacts, “Invited to Join”
    • -A guest can:
      • - Access LotusLive services to join meetings, read and comment on files, create and participate in activities, take surveys, view charts
      • - Be part of the LL Network, search and be found by others
      • - Add, share and synch contacts
      • - Invite guests of their own
    • - A guest can't:
      • - Have a company identity
      • - Get access to instant messaging
      • - Upload/post more than 25 MB
      • - Have own online meeting room
  • 4. Ways to Invite a Guest during a 30-day Trial
    • File share
      • If a LL users adds a person to a file in the share dialog and the email address is not already in LL, The person will get two system emails:
        • From signup@lotuslive.com to join as a guest
        • From support@lotuslive.com – get access to the shared file
    • Adding a member to an Activity
      • If a LL users adds a member to an Activity in the share dialog and the email address is not already in LL, The person will get two system emails:
        • From signup@lotuslive.com to join as a guest
        • From support@lotuslive.com – get access to the Activity
    • Addition to a group
      • If a LL user adds a person to a group and the email address is not already in then there is an option to ”tell unregistered users about this group” and have them join as a guest. They will receive an email from signup@lotuslive.com
    • Adding a Contact that's not a member
      • Any non-LotusLive member in your contact list will have a link to “Invite” the contact to join as a guest.

    • Think of a Guest as:
      • -a spectator at a sporting event and a user is on the field participating in the event
    • - Customer/Partner interactions: bring customers and partners who are less active participants, reading presentations, giving feedback, participating in meetings and surveys, don't require instant messaging. They don't need a company identity.
    • - Workshops: attendees need the ability to collaborate on threaded discussions, access to presentations and project entries and actions but are mostly listeners.
