english day trip in Binissalem

1. Dear families,
Our English Day is coming very soon, offering a special meeting with
different activities in which our 6th graders will be immersed in an
English speaking context.
For the first time, we have been invited by CEIP Binissalem to
participate in this annual event, as we are taking part in a school
exchange program which is another opportunity to practise this
foreign language.
Four workshops have been organized at s’Olivaret (Alaró road, km
2,5). Our English Team at CEIP Son Canals will present a cooking
workshop. A second workshop will be held by Bettina Hering, a great
professional in body movement. Ulrike Fischer will guide us in the
process of making a small felt bag. The last one will be a photo
scavenger hunt, run by the English Team at CEIP Binissalem.
Therefore, students have to bring a digital camera or a mobile
phone and a pencil case with pencils, rubbers and colours.
They also have to bring a small rucksack with a snack and
something to drink, as well as a pair of socks and scissors.
The journey will start at 8.30 am and will finish at 2.30pm. Please, we ask you
to be on time to start the day.
The cost of the activity is 5€.
