Critical Evaluation
Earlier works of Chetan Bhagat emphasized love and romance but this novel
emphasizes elements of thrill and suspense Chetan Bhagat, as a writer attracts
the young readers. He is also called a media author. The words used in the title
‘an unlove story’ are catchy and may promote sale of his novel. The language of
Chetan Bhagat has a touch of metro culture so it entertains the young readers. A
reader needs the supports of imagination to fully enjoy the story.
My Review
Read Signals (Reasons to Read)
3. The novel is very interesting and palatable. There is no sign of sex in it. The
language is very easy for readers. The story keeps readers attracted lastly its plot
and characters. The climax is nicely hiked and the hypocritical of suspense
makes it more charming. As a reader, I found it very interesting from first line to
the last line of it. It definitely requires concentrated reading for scholars.
Red Signals (Reasons to avoid)
The narrative technique of it is hot classic. The use of vulgar words may not
attract young female readers. The characters are sometimes confusing and it
seems that the writer’s eye and mind is not as readers’ love for novel reading
but a getting financial advantage out of it.
