  4. 4. <ul><ul><li>Business Resource Center </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>West Texas Legislative Summit </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>CVCOG Planning Commission </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Strategic Planning Steering Committee </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Downtown San Angelo and City of San Angelo hosted the 2 nd Annual Patriots’ Parade in July </li></ul><ul><li>DSA President, Brenda Gunter and Executive Director organized meetings between CW Fields and Community/Economic Development partners to discuss Downtown housing development and the potential use of the Roosevelt Hotel </li></ul><ul><li>Executive Director met with Pamela Miller, SACVB and Margaret Hoogstra, Director Texas Forts Trail to plan for December 1-2 Texas Heritage Trails/ Texas Historical Commission meeting in San Angelo </li></ul>
  5. 5. <ul><li>DSA staff collaborated with John Duggan, Vice-president of Marketing & Recruitment/SA Chamber of Commerce to host the December 1 -2 meeting of the Texas Small Business Industrial Development Corporation Board in San Angelo </li></ul><ul><li>DSA staff began development of the new Downtown Shopping brochure </li></ul><ul><li>Mustang Sally Opened for business at Concho Crossing in July </li></ul><ul><li>Construction and remodel began in the 3 rd Quarter for Downtown’s first Brew Pub located at Concho Crossing </li></ul><ul><li>DSA Board President Gunter, Executive Director and DSA Board member Brandon Sanders met with CW Fields during a return visit to San Angelo to discuss other potential housing development properties, as structural challenges were discovered with the Roosevelt Hotel </li></ul>
  6. 6. <ul><li>DSA Staff continues to work with Dr. Timothy Hopkins regarding the 30 West Beauregard housing development and other potential property developments </li></ul><ul><li>DSA staff continues to work with individuals exploring options for retail space, as well as business owners considering expansion </li></ul><ul><li>Downtown presentations were given during </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Mall Walkers July Breakfast meeting </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>August ASU Annual Faculty Orientation Luncheon </li></ul></ul><ul><li>DSA partnered with Suddenlink to sponsor and produce the September Wooly Bully activities in Downtown </li></ul><ul><li>DSA partnered with TIRZ to purchase 30 trash receptacles for the Downtown area </li></ul><ul><li>The Historic Downtown Walking Tour Brochure was completed and sent to press. Anticipated publish date is December 2011 </li></ul>
  7. 7. <ul><li>DSA President Brenda Gunter and Executive Director met with City Manager Harold Dominguez and City Planning Director, A J Fawver to discuss Downtown Strategic/Master Plan for presentation to the Downtown Development Commission </li></ul><ul><li>DSA sponsored and participated in the 13 th Annual Women’s Business Roundtable Event </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Executive Director served as the facilitator for the Breakout Session – Doing Business Downtown </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Pocket Park development continues </li></ul>
