      • 5th grade Battle of the Books teams participated in the school battle. The winning team, Fantastic Five, will now move on to the district competition on April 14th.Dr. Seuss Day was held on March 2nd and community members, parents, and fraternity/sorority members came to read Seuss books to all classes.Our Exemplary Media Center Open House was held on March 3rd and educators from around the state came to learn for the entire day. We were also featured in the Athens Banner Herald. http://www.onlineathens.com/stories/030411/new_794243719.shtmlMr. Plemmons presented the Barrow Oral History Project at the Georgia Conference on Children’s Literature.
