Executive Biographies
Who We Are
bChannels is a specialist in the development and optimization of routes to market and
channel engagement process for global technology companies. Our team of
consultants work with channel leaders in the world’s largest technology businesses to
develop effective channel strategy and process. We have people based in North
America, Europe and Asia.
Matt Rowland-Jones
Based in Europe
Matt is General Manager of bChannels and has been with the business since it started
in 1999. During that time he has worked at executive level with clients as diverse as
Microsoft, Plantronics, Vodafone, Avaya, SAP, Samsung and LG. Most at worldwide
level. He is a recognised expert in channel development and is a regular speaker at
European channel events. He is involved in facilitating partner advisory boards for
many of bChannels clients.

Allan Adler
Based in the North America
Allan Adler is a highly experienced international consultant with background in the
development and execution of go-to-market, partnership and channel strategies for
leading information technology companies. Over the last ten years, Allan has focused
his efforts assisting companies such as BEA, Adobe, Siemens PLM, and VMware to
optimize their one and two tier distribution strategies leveraging his deep
understanding of the wholesale model.
Phil Gowing
Based in Europe
Phil is bChannels' Operations Director and has responsibility for many of our internal
processes, as well as managing our significant relationship with Intel. Phil has been
with bChannels for ten years and has been our lead Account Director for our Intel
business for five years. In that time Phil has worked on a wide variety of channel
infrastructure outsourcing projects, including contact centre rationalisation and use of
social media to drive channel engagement.
Chris Bard
Based in Europe
Chris is Client Director responsible for Partner Program projects. He worked for many
years in executive channel roles with Tektronix and Xerox before joining us. At
bChannels he has long term client relationships with Samsung, Vodafone, Extreme,
Lexar and Zebra. Chris has particular expertise in distribution engagement and in
hardware markets, particularly print and imaging.

Samsung. He really became part of the in-house team. He is very focused, reliable
and personable, engaging well with the wider team.”
