Week 1
 About the poem.
 Using the actions from the poem, pupils play ‘Teacher says’. Teacher says the action and
pupils do. Teacher can enrich the activities by incorporating other actions. Example: Stomp
your feet, Snap your fingers, Shake your head.
 In pair, pupils make a flash card. On the flash card, ask pupils to write what they do to keep
them awake during class. Then, pupils mimic it for the class to guess.
Week 2
 About the poem.
 Pupils recite poem with action. Teacher can assign 4 groups and they will recite one
paragraph each with actions.
 Teacher sticks all the flash cards on the board. Pupils choose 4 activities and substitute
them in the poem.
 Pupils draw the activity based on the flash card.
