2. Why? Because it’s a new school. We believe in the early exposure to English. CLIL is a good way of improving communicative competence. Self-learning methods help children to develop social skills.
3. How?Infantil Using a puppet as the main character of the subject. Oral skills as the main aim. Use of visual aids. Interactive activities. Use of transition markers. Dividing the lessons into two main parts.
4. How?Primary English Use of text book. Puppets and visual aids. English as a means of communication. Cultural facts. Arts & Crafts Using English for real purposes. Taking into account children abilities. Participating in all the school events.
21. What?Arts and craftsclass Use of models. Having reference flashcards sticked on the walls. Making them ask in English for whatever they need. Using almost 30 minutes of each session giving instructions in English.
23. When? P3: 45 min per week, half group. P4: 90 min per week, half group. P5: 2 h week, whole group. 1st: English 2 h a week, whole group. 2nd: English 2 h a week, whole group. 3rd: English 2,5 h a week, whole group. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Arts & Crafts 90 min a week, whole group.
