CONVENOR ANNUAL STAWELL ALPACA SHOW (9 YEARS)
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare showing schedules and co-ordinate entries in the show, receiving entry fees and
managing finances of the show.
Organise sponsorships and advertising
Co-ordinate and manage the activities of the Alpaca sub-committee for the Stawell
Agricultural Committee
To run meetings and prepare reports to the Agricultural Society on the progress of the event
To organise special guests and ensure that catering, legal requirements, OHS and logistical
requirements are met.
Undertake media promotions on the radio and in the press
To ensure that the show met its budgets
Key Achievement: To attract the Ambassador of Chile to attend as a special guest to open the Alpaca Show and
running the show at a profit for the 9 years that it ran.
TREASURER WESTERN REGION OF THE VICTORIAN ALPACA ASSOCIATION
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the financial records of the region
To ensure that the region operated in accordance with the delegated authority of the Alpaca
Association
To act as an ordinary member of the committee
To assist the region in generating more income
Provide financial reports to members and the committee
Approve expenditure and record financial transactions in MYOB
Key Achievements: To have encouraged the region to develop a stand- alone alpaca show at the Hamilton
