Media magazine evaluation questions 4 - 7
1. 4. Who would the audience be for your media
product?
The audience I aimed my
magazine at is 15 – 18 year olds of
the social class: B,C1,C2, who are
into R&B and Hip Hop music and
are interested in what’s going on in
the music industry whether it’s
what their favourite artist is doing
musically or being able to know
information on their personal life.
My magazine also shows what’s in
fashion because of the age it’s
aimed at the teens would aspire to
music artists. My magazine is
targeted at urban adolescents who
are black, therefore the artists in
my magazine are mostly black
because of the musical genres R&B
and Hip Hop having black origins.

7. 6. What have you learnt about technologies from
the process of constructing this product?
I have learnt about tweaking pictures and making them more creative
in Photoshop by changing the brightness and contrast and using
various effects.
I learnt how to insert images and text into in design and how to
create a magazine layout for example columns.
8. 6.What have you learnt about technologies from the
process of constructing this product?
Kodak EasyShare Dx7630
With the Kodak camera I was able
to execute my knowledge and eye
for photography and used a range
of camera angles.
Blogger.com
Using blogger I was able to log all
my work and showcase my finished
product.
Using slideshare I was able to
put my presentations onto
my blog.
9. Looking back at your preliminary task, what do
you feel you have learnt in the progression from
it to the full product?
I think my preliminary
task was completely
different compared to my
music magazine in terms
of quality. The font on the
cover lines in my
preliminary task in my
opinion do not look as
appealing compared to
my music magazine and
the text looks to big. I feel
it looks very amateur
compared to my full
magazine.
