38. Planning the semester
• Preparing for an internship: Have a well-planned introduction, arrange
practical matters before the intern arrives, plan appropriate tasks, have
both short and longer projects, introduce the logbook.
• Half-way review meeting: Let the intern arrange a coffee break/breakfast
meeting within the department to talk about his/her work, discuss larger
projects, allow the intern to arrange visits to local schools to talk about
Tekniksprånget and the employer.
• Conclusion: Plan for a concluding presentation where the intern presents
his/her project to the department/office, evaluate and sum up the
internship with the intern.
