5. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Leading of the engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel in order
to ensure a high standard of building, machinery, plant, furniture, fixture
and equipment in all the departments. Achieve total guest satisfaction and
organizational profitability through effective utilization of all resources.
2. Trouble shooting & breakdown maintenance of Steam Boilers, Hot water
generators, Diesel Genset, AC Plants & Effluent Treatment Plants.
3. Closely monitoring the progress of all schedules, guest room machinery and
equipment pm schedules and maintaining necessary records.
4. Developing the TPM standards, TPM checklists for the equipments.
5. Working with the TPM groups, implementing the TPM standards and close
monitoring of the TPM activity in the department.
6. Maintaining all TBEM, TPM, GSTS records and follow up(Internal process).
7. Ensuring availability of uninterrupted utilities throughout by monitoring &
operating the Ac plants, Gensets, Boilers and other machinery.
8. Direct the budgeting process of all capital expenditure and renovations.
9. Developing systems and procedures that ensure safety of guests, plant,
machinery, employees and property.
10. Plan and execute preventive maintenance and upkeep of engineering
services.
11. Monitoring energy consumption and design methods for conservation and
optimization of energy.
12. Maintaining the fire safety system through regular inspection of fire alarm
and sprinkler system.
13. Ensuring that all the Engineering and Maintenance activities / systems
adhere to the standards/efficiency/productivity levels that have been set for
the unit.
