 Welcome back from the National Zoo! There
are so many animals that can be found in the
zoo. Each animal has its own special
characteristic. Do you still remember the
information that you gathered there? Before
continuing on this quest, mentally decide
three animals that you are going to include
in your scrapbook.
 Students will produce and create a scrapbook
related to animals that they saw during a trip
to the zoo. Each group will choose three
animals to study. Please include the
following:
 Name the three animals and describe…
 Eating habits (herbivores, carnivores, omnivores)
 Life cycle
 Habitats
 Communication
 Photos
 Other relevant information
 Get in groups of 3 students.
 Before you can create your scrapbook, you need
to share the information that you had gathered
with your group.
 Create your scrapbook and present it to the
class.

  • 4.  Welcome back from the National Zoo! There are so many animals that can be found in the zoo. Each animal has its own special characteristic. Do you still remember the information that you gathered there? Before continuing on this quest, mentally decide three animals that you are going to include in your scrapbook.
  • 5.  Students will produce and create a scrapbook related to animals that they saw during a trip to the zoo. Each group will choose three animals to study. Please include the following:  Name the three animals and describe…  Eating habits (herbivores, carnivores, omnivores)  Life cycle  Habitats  Communication  Photos  Other relevant information
  • 6.  Get in groups of 3 students.  Before you can create your scrapbook, you need to share the information that you had gathered with your group.  Create your scrapbook and present it to the class.

The cover is unclear in its chosen animals. Confusing and/or inconsistent information. Language and grammar (30%) Language and grammar are used with a high degree of accuracy.   • 21.  Once you are done, hand in your scrapbook to your teacher.  Your teacher will evaluate you and your group based on the evaluation form.  Your performance is key to completing the task.  Your English language skills have been exercised in a natural working environment.  All demonstrations are available for you to use with your students in your classes.
