1. How to find a partner school – New Desktop
This document will show you how to find a partner school in the new eTwinning
Desktop.
Before you search for the right partner school make sure that:
1. You have organised your own profile with meaningful information
2. You have defined your ideal partner school
The partner finding search allows you to search for an ideal school based on certain
criteria (subject, country, age of pupils etc.).
1.1. Using the partner finding search
Step 1 – Login to your eTwinning account
Step 2 – Click on Find eTwinners
Step 3 – Search either by a keyword (name, topic etc.) in the quick search or by
choosing one or more categories in the advanced search and click on “Search”.

Step 4 – You will get a list of schools in alphabetical order which match with
your keywords or search categories.
Step 5 – In their quick profiles you can see information about eTwinning
preferences, age of pupils, preferred languages, subjects and the registration
date. If you find interesting partner schools, you can go to their profiles by
clicking on their names and get more information about these schools there or
you can write an e-mail to these schools through the internal e-mail system.
Step 6 – You can also add them directly to your contacts.
