Earlier this spring I went to a marketing conference. Was sitting there listing to how people don’t get many blog hits and that by linking their blogs to social media sites like Facebook they could improving this. The show Also talked about such topics as using social networks to garner PR exposure and so all this started me thinking… We need to do this too. So when I returned from the conference Our social media marketing journey began.

    • In order for this to happen your blog will need to have an RSS feed. If it doesn’t, talk to your IT team about setting this up.
    • Copy the URL of your blog’s RSS feed.
    • Go to the site http://twitterfeed.com/ . Follow the three steps here to feed you blog into your Twitter page. (If you don’t have one, go to http://openid.net for more help and information on what an OpenID log in in.)
    • Once this is complete, click the RSS feed on the bottom right corner of your Twitter page. Copy the URL.
    • Login to your Facebook page. Then download the app, Simply RSS.
