1. The room where she lays is dark. The sun had gone
down, allready hours ago, when she fell asleep. Now
she lays on the bed, under the dirty blanket.
Breathing, respirating, the air is warm going out of
her nose, and cold as she is inhaling fresh oxygen.
Her stomach is moving underneath the old blanket
made of a piece of filth. A flie that was sitting on her
stomach, gets scared when the stomach moves
slowly upwards, even though no sudden move has
been made. The flie speeds up as it hurries away
from the moving mountain. The dark room is cold
and closed, and the door is locked. It is as if the girl
is captured, with no way of getting out of the small
space. Every window, and every door is locked. She
would have been captured and unhappy, if she had
been awake. But she is not awake. The girl is
sleeping and dreaming a wonderful dream.
2. The girl is standing on a mountain top, with
deep hills on every side. Other mountains are
surrounding the mountain top on the other
sides of the deep, deep hills. She looks
around in every direction. She is captured on
the mountain top, with no ability to get down,
the hill is to steep on every side. She looks
around again, there has to be a way to climb
down. But she cant find a way to get down,
and she does not remember how she got up
there. She sits down, ready to give up, she
looks down, and her underlips starts to
shiver. She pushes her lips firmly together,
and tries to be angry with herself, to avoid
crying. "I´m not going to cry, I´m not going to
cry," she silently whispers to herself. But one
tear is pushing itself out of her right eyelid, as
she blinks her eye in a desperate try of not
giving in to the despair. As she blinks her
eyes, several times, swallowing the lump in
her throath she suddenly hears the sound of
a pair of wings flapping carefully. She opens
her eyes, lift her head and looks up towards
the sky. An eagle was descending from
beneath the mountain top, and flying in
circles upwards towards the sky, before it
saw a goal and flew away to one of the other
mountain tops, disappearing in the horizon.
3. If the girl had more experience in life, the
sudden appearance of the bird would have
scared her, she would have thought it was
hunting, and she was the bait. But she had
never known any danger from any bird in her
life, so she was freed from this kind of fears.
She was only encouraged by the way the bird
was getting away from the danger. She
looked down on her own arms, "could she
fly?" she asked herself. She heard the silent
flapping of wings, and looked towards the
horizon where the bird had disappeared. The
bird was lifting and lowering its wings in a
slowly flying dance, as it was getting closer to
the girl standing all alone on the mountain
top. The girl saw a hope, again, in the bird
and started waving her arms, calling on the
bird, crying out for the bird to get closer. The
birds slowly dance, as it is getting closer and
closer ends as it lower its clows towards her
back, holding on to her sweather.
4. The bird lifts the girls and the she shouts out
of joy, the bird carries the girl over the
mountain tops and the girl is flying. She looks
down on the green hills, and sees the nature
flowing out wild as far as the eye can see. A
sudden rush of joy fills the girl, as she
realizes she is flying and she opens her
mouth and shouts as loud as she can.
5. So loud that she wakes up and realizes that
its not the bird that was carrying her. She
opens her eyes and sees a man with a sticky
short three day old baird, a green military
pants and a winter jacket is grabbing her
sweather by the back and carrying her
outside of the little cabin. It would have been
clompletely dark ouside, if it was not for the
carefully lighting rays from the moon, stealing
their way through the midnight. The moon is
round, but not completely round, but it looks
careless of what is about to happen. The man
carries her around the cabin and she
discovers that there is a little river behind the
cabin. A little punt was tied towards a little
brew, the man tossed her at the floor in the
punt. "Lie here," he whispered in a not
unfriendly manner.
6. The girl opens her eyes wider and looks at
his face, which is not unfriendly. She realizes
that the man might not be the enemy, but
maybe a hope of escape. She looks towards
his eyes, but its to dark to capture the
expression of his inner being. He looks
towards the cabin, behaving very quietly,
before quickly loosening the rope that is
binding the little boat towards the landside.
He pushes the boat from shore before he
gets quickly inside, taking the oars and starts
to row in the silent water. The quiet sound
from the oars pushing the boat step by step
further away from the danger, makes her
eyelids heavy, and she falls asleep again.
7. She discover that the bird has let her go, but she´s not falling towards the ground, her
arms are moving, and she´s flying in the air as she´s lifting and lowering her arms gently
in the wind. The fresh air is hitting her face as if she´s falling gently towards the ground,
but the ground is not getting closer, she´s staying up in the air. She lets the wind guide
her and she glides through the air, looking down on mountains, trees and lakes. Flying,
gliding and enjoying herself. "How could I ever be afraid of flying?" She asks herself as
she´s closing her eyes in delight.
8. When she opens them, the sun´s earliest
bright clear light fills the day. She looks into a
pair of deep eyes, with a worried expression
reflecting the inner of his soul. "Are you
okey?" He asks carefully. She nods her
head, as she tries to get up from the lying
position, as she sits up, she sees that they
still are surrounded by forest, hills and
waters. "Am I safe?" She asks as she looks
into his eyes as if he is the redemption of all
her worries. "You are safe," he says and his
face lights up in a smile. His smile makes her
relax and she smiles back at him, breathing
out the warm air from her lounges. The air
turn in to smoke in the cold fresh air, and
flies upwards towards the sky.
9. She looks up after the disappearing fog and
sees an eagle far up high in the sky. As the
eagle sees the girl it cries out a cry of joy,
and started to descend in circles towards a
mountain. The man looks at the girl
surprised: "It was as if the eagle reckognized
you", he said looking deeply into her eyes.
The girl turns away, looks after the bird, and
says secretly: "Only God knows."
