  4. 4. Summary Marketing through social networks with Michael Leander – 2 June, 2009 • 39 marketers from 15 countries signed up for this FEDMA and Markedu web-seminar • 16 people showed-up • 2 cancelled and 21 didn’t show up • 18 received an evaluation email) • 14 people filled out the evaluation (66,67%) • Here are the results. . .
  5. 5. ”Evaluate speaker: Michael Leander” 1 is bad – 7 is great Michael Leander’s presentation was well received
  6. 6. ”Evaluate speaker: Kevan Bilton” 1 is bad – 7 is great Kevan Bilton only presented 15 minutes of live product demo
  7. 7. Marketing quality and technical quality 1 is bad – 7 is great Technical quality was rated good Marketing quality was once again rated very good
  8. 8. 71,43% said they are likely to recommend the “Marketing through social networks” web-seminar to others 71,43% said they would recommend the web seminar to others
  9. 9. Did the web-seminar meet your expectations? 85,72% said their expectations were met or exceeded
  10. 10. Testimonials, recommendations and constructive feedback " I think it was quite interesting and dynamic way to give a seminar Due to time constraints we have not yet asked this person if we may publish his or her name
  11. 11. Testimonials, recommendations and constructive feedback “Dear Michael, you still speak too fast. Every body understands you like to do some promotion in the beginning and not in the end, but speak less fast. F0r 95 percent of the audience is English a second language. Second thing is your program was (again) too long. Canceling slides is not good. Your guest did not cancel any slides. Two hours is two hours. It was such a pity I could not join the end simply because of other appointments. I hope you do not mind my honest comment Due to time constraints we have not yet asked this person if we may publish his or her name
  12. 12. Testimonials, recommendations and constructive feedback “Please refer to my previous testimonial. I'll be glad to provide another one next time but I had to leave this seminar in the middle of Kevan's presentation. In general I think these are really well done (technical, content, interaction, atmosphere), except for this time, I found it hard to pay attention to Kevan's speech.
  13. 13. Testimonials, recommendations and constructive feedback " Very profound, detailed and very up-to-date.” Due to time constraints we have not yet asked this person if we may publish his or her name
  14. 14. Testimonials, recommendations and constructive feedback “No one does this better than Michael Leander. I have attended several of his web seminars over the past months – and he is very knowledgeable, very willing to share his knowledge and on top of that he is an outstanding presenter.” Due to time constraints we have not yet asked this person if we may publish his or her name
  15. 15. Moving forward • Great feedback, thank you. We will use it to improve the next web-seminars • We are working hard to identify more speakers, more interesting topics and look forward to seeing you at one of our events. • More web-seminars and marketing events here: www.markedu.com
  16. 16. Marketing learnings by Michael Leander • It is interesting to see how differently two people review the same experience. It again goes to prove how important it is to match speaker, topic and competence level of attendees. • Conversion from signup to attendance is a an issue with web- seminars as it is with regular seminars. • Stay tuned: http://meemoo2.com
