E-business, e-government and virtual office are ICT applications used in the Information Society
In a more general sense, the term may be used to describe any form of electronic business —- that is to say, any business which utilizes a computer. This usage is somewhat archaic, however, and in most contexts ebusiness refers exclusively to Internet businesses.

The resulting benefits can be less corruption, increased transparency, greater convenience, revenue growth, and/or cost reductions.
Your office could be in your home, in your car, in the airport, on the beach, or even on a mountaintop. In typical situations, your office will be based in your home regardless of whether you travel or not. If this is the case then you need to have a good setup. This includes a quiet location away from the distractions that being at home will always have. These include the refrigerator, TV, children, lawn work, dishes in the sink... you name it. It can be a distraction.
The network society is different from the concept of virtual community, which claims different social interactions due to technological platform.
Alexander Flor calls for a horizontal development in the relations of classes as society is informatized.
