2. WHY?: THE SPACE RACE
 October 4th, 1957. The Soviet Union launches the first artificiall
satellite (Sputnik 1).
 November 3rd, 1957. Laika was a Soviet space dog who became the first
animal to orbit the Earth.
 April 12th, 1961. The Soviet Union launch the first human to space (Yuri
Gagarin, Vostok 1).
 May 25th, 1961. J.F.K. Announced that the U.S.A. was going to launch
it!
