1. HOW DOES YOUR PRODUCT
ENGAGE WITH AUDIENCES AND
HOW WOULD IT BE DISTRIBUTED
AS A REAL MEDIA TEXT?
2. • For our music album promotion package we first decided
on the genre which was Indie Pop and then we
conducted a survey which revealed that our target
audience would lie in the 16-30 years of age category
with which our music video would engage, although this
does not mean that people older than this age group
cannot watch or take meaning from the music video as
the research into Psychographics revealed the
“Reformers” would also take meaning and understand
the point of view we were portraying in the music video.
3. • Our music video would give the people who are
struggling in life hope and give them strength and belief
to be more positive and to not give up because if you
stay positive and committed you get your reward and
hard work does payoff as is the case in our music video
where we show how in a barren land where there is very
less chance of a plant growing, but still the girl goes and
plants a seed and waters it hoping that it will grow and
her dedication does payoff and her hard work is prized by
help from the God above when it rains as a sign of
blessing and the plant grows against all odds.
• So this holds meaning for the audience to not lose hope
in times of struggles and hardships and one should stay
dedicated and positive.
4. • For the second part of the music video about how the
music video will be distributed as a real media text.
Our music album will be distributed by our record label
which is Walnut studios and it will be distributed online and
on the internet which includes the band website which is
(http://yazdani9.wix.com/awaaz ) and it will be made
available for download.
We will also release the album on Cd through a Digipak
which will include the songs and the complete album in
Dolby surround sound and will be sold in shops and Cd
outlets.
The distribution and marketing plan would be done by our
record label Walnut studios which features and promotes
rising and talented Indie bands and artists.
5. So that is how our music album will engage with
audiences and be distributed to the audiences through
the internet based websites such as YouTube and the
band website and also through the Digpak and Cd
sales.
