• Originally three labels under Universal
  Music: Interscope, A&M, and Geffen
• Founded in 1990 by Jimmy Iovine under
  Time Warner, working closely with Death
  Row Records
• Hip-Hop and Rock centered            Many
  genres after merger
MTV
•   MTV gets back to the music, for one day they
    play only Interscope artist’s music videos
•   We have major artists, like Lady Gaga, make a
    playlist of their favorite videos and have those
    playing sporadically.
•   Throughout some of the videos, secret codes
    come up and they can be used for free
    downloads or discounts on merchandise
Artists Collaborations
• Having larger-known artists (i.e. Lady Gaga,
  Black Eyed Peas, MIA) collaborate with
  rising artists (i.e. Audio Push, Greyson
  Chance, Major Laser) to push the brand of
  our artists
• Limited Edition physical CD only available
  at live shows
Movie Soundtracks
• Work with films to produce soundtracks
  with various artists on our label
• Will save production companies both time
  and money (purchasing song rights), enabling
  our label to further our brand recognition
• Past films have included:
 • Across the Universe
 • Where The Wild Things Are
 • Slumdog Millionaire

• Sponsor a multi-stage music festival featuring
  a mixture of largely known artists and lesser-
