10. Tikhomirov & Klochko (1976)の第1課題 The boat was immediately caught up by the violent current. The river carried the boat as if it and the passengers weighed nothing and had no means of resisting the mighty current. When they came to the steep descents, the banks went past the frightened travelers at a dreadful speed. The rocks on the bank and the few trees flashed by, coalescing into a multicolored ribbon and making the passengers giddy. When ascending, the movement of the river slowed down. It was as if it subsided and became dark. The river was like a living creature – falling lightly and joyfully from the mountains and laboriously bearing the travelers uphill. It became lazy and unrecognizable during the rare, protracted, high ascents. The boys came to themselves and silently looked at one another, but they did not even manage to laugh a bit at their frightened look since the current broke away once again after conquering a peak; and the headlong flashing, the painful process of waiting for the next respite, began again. 10
