The passage discusses putting on compassion, kindness, humility, patience, and love in order to be unified. It encourages forgiving others as God forgave, letting Christ's peace rule one's heart, and dwelling on virtues. All things should be done in Jesus' name with thankfulness to God so that the body of believers may teach and encourage each other through songs of praise.
