    • When Can I Intern?
      • Anytime your class load permits
      • Most students intern in the summer
      • Some intern during Intersession or part-time during the school year
      JHU Recommends: Wait until you finish your first year at Hopkins to intern
    • When Should I Look for an Internship?
      • The earlier you look, the more opportunities you have to find an internship
      • Be aware of deadlines:
      • Government Deadlines - November 1
      • Large Organizations- Fall and Early Spring
      • The majority of Hopkins students that find internships, begin searching in the Fall.
      JHU Recommends: First-year students start looking in October
    • How Do I Find an Internship?
      Identify what you have to offer employers-Skills, Characteristics, and Experience
      Set a goal for the internship
      Develop Effective Marketing Tools-Resumes, Cover Letters, etc.
      Identify Potential Employers
      Make Contact
      Follow Up
