• Description- This WebQuest will get students interested in
learning about the animals in the rainforest. The students will
choose an animal from a list of animals provided on this
WebQuest and become an expert on that animal.
• Grade level- 3-5
• Curriculum- Science
• Keywords- rainforest, animals, macaw, sloth, spider monkey, and
poisonness frog.
• The rainforest animals are in trouble. They need you guys to
observe them hands-on so that you can save them. Most people
are not familiar enough to help them. You guys have to save
them. As soon as you learn about them, spread the word to the
community. Students will work in groups of four and observe the
animals very closely. We need to know the animals, habitat,
diet, and life span. It is up to you guys to save the animals in the
rainforest.
• The community close to the rainforest are letting selected
people to come observe the animals in the rainforest.
• Choose one of the animals that is provided on slide 5 to
become an expert on. Even though you are in groups, you need
to select an animal individually to observe.
• After choosing your animal, look up the animals habitat, diet,
life span, and if the animal is dangerous.
