June 11, 2012Needs Assessment: o Professionals who are expected to deliver PowerPoint presentations are at a loss to the guidelines of what constitutes an effective and visually pleasing PowerPoint presentation. o In general, people are fearful of speaking publicly and they are also afraid of technology; therefore, when they are faced with the challenge of presenting they resort to their outdated methods that may not be very effective. There is a barrage of guidelines about effective powerpoint presentations available online and in print; however, it is difficult for a student or professional to decipher through the mass.
