What is IGR?
● A social justice education program that uses theory and experiential
learning to facilitate learning about social group identity, social
inequality, and intergroup relations.
● Opportunity to consider and explore how we can live and work in a
diverse world
● Helps us to think intentionally about making choices that advance
equity, justice, and peace.
● IGR was founded in 1988 at the University of Michigan. First program
of its kind.
